how hard is it to refelt a pool table?

Just curious if this is something i can do myself? ive read the instructions and it seems like if i take my time and do it right its something i can do, i just got a pool table but it needs refelting and its expensive for someone to come out...

my dad had his table refelted because all the sunlight coming through the windows faded the cloth and it took the professionals 3 hours or so. didnt look that hard for what i saw them doing.

Not extremely hard, but time consuming, and its nearly impossible to do alone (need at least 2 people to stretch it tight)

It looks like more of a pain in the *** than what it's worth to do your self. Plus if you **** up, you'll be wasting money and just have someone do it.

We had ours recovered for about $250 last year. Took the guy and his helper about 2 hours to do.

The felt I want is $250 itself. Plus, there is some mental benefit to doing it yourself. A sense of accomplishment is worthy to some people.

the table already has new green slates, so i think im gonna do the table part black and have a black and green table. (green is my fav. color)

Precisely, id like to be able to tell people i did it myself, and know how to do it in the future if i ever want to change the color.
