How good are the Oz Matrix Elite 12 inch subs?

I am about to replace 2 12 inch Kappa perfects (they keep blowing). They are powered by a Mtx 81000d. Was looking at some Type x, IDmax, and JL audio subs. I then came across the Oz Matrix Elite on the net. How would these be compared to the others. My Kappa's had a lot of low level bass but suffered after that. I am looking for sound quality with more punch than the perfects had.

from what ive read people seem to really like them and say they are very similar to the idmax

I hear nothing but good things. I have a 12.2. I have only tried it free air & it has alot of excursion. I'll be able to do a review in about a week.

Visually is very, very well built.

Thanks for the replies. Do they have great low end? I heard that the Idmax have ok low end. The low end was the only good part about the perfects.
