Im new to this so please don't flame and could you just give me some advice. I went to this car audio place and that's what the guy suggusted for my 2002 pathfinder. He said all of this stuff including the sub box, parts, labor, etc would cost around $1065. Thanks

hmmm--i know you could do better if you just str8 out by the same/different stuff of the net but then install becomes a problem unless you feel you could do-it-yourself--in which case you could save some money.

Ok thanks for the imput its really appreciated. What I am looking for is a good system at a reasonable price. If it comes down to it I will try to install it myself. I am hoping to spend less than $1000. Heres what I am thinking about so far if you guys could help me out.

Head unit- An Alpine in the one hundred dollar range

Sub- Xtant x1244

Amp- I have no idea, I dont know anything about amps

Speakers- I need 4, but again im clueless

I have a 2002 nissan pathfinder could you guys plz help me?

do you mind Ebay? if so there is so much you can get better than that one you listed. do you want 1 sub and be able to keep some space in the back or a 15 or 2 12s or what?I have a RE SX12 in ported box off viper 1200.1 and it wangs. it would be louder than that xtant and jbl, and the lethal injection he listed above(It does cost more about 270 compared to 150 or so, im not dissing The LI its an awsome sub for money, keeps up with many higher priced subs.)

Ngsm13's is a lot cheaper and will sound better than alot of peoples systems prolly.

get a viper amp from teamcsw on ebay they are nice and it glows( extra 2db)

Getting an Eclipse deck is a good idea. I can't comment on the other equipment since I haven't used any JBL stuff.
