you could do much worse as equipment goes, but that price all that seems kinda high. You could save a bunch of money if you installed yourself.

edit ill help you out a lil,

they have a section devoted to each part of a system, search in each one, comon words would be "best" and find ones that fit your price range. trust me your situation has been covered over and over.

after you configured your system together, post it back on here and well give feedback

installation is not complicated, after reading how to, if you dont have the confidence just take it to a pro.

oh yea its highly recomended you build your own box or ask another member to. as you search youll see what i mean

id buy a deck from crutchfield.com and install it yourself, its easy Very easy, comes with free dash kit for your car and wiring

some components, maybe a/d/s from ebay, have them installed...(maybe $60 for install)

forget rear speakers, screws up the sound quality 9 out of 10 times

then get a fi sub http://www.ficaraudio.com

and Phoenix gold amps off woofersetc.com

and build a box, that too is easy and will say you mucho $$$$

350 for 600x2 Rated seems a bit high to me.......Search the forum for way better prices on amps...

Or look into a Hifonics BX2006D for around 350 and will do ya a good 1600 at 1 ohm as everyone says...which type r's would LOVE

The amp is weak. Only 400 RMS. You can do much better for less online. The Soundstream Picasso series will give you 3x the power for the same $$. Or you could go with only about 1kW for around $250 and get an amp for the mids and highs. While you're at it shitcan the rear speakers and spend the money on a decent set of components for the front. You'll thank us for this, trust me.

OK, well through all the evaluation (and all the threads...sorry I just want the best suggestions) this is what I've got....

Same head unit and speakers as stated above. They seem to be fine...

But I've upgraded to Type-R Alpine's for a much cheaper price and a Hifonics BXi 2006D for about the same price as the amp I had before...

What do you think about this?
