How does ordering movies from amazon work as far as getting them release day

I see theres some free super saver shipping and some other things ( ways of shipping ) as well as pre orders... So lets say i just keep filling my cart with like 10 movies, and 5 come out next tuesday and the other five come out 2 weeks from next tuesday.. Do i pay for them all at once, then they just ship them out on the release day?

Only thing i ever ordered from there was my TV , so i dont know how the shipping and release stuff goes

i believe you enter info to pay for them, (shipping address, CC #, etc) and if i recall they dont charge your card until they ship and you should receive them on release day.

i could be wrong but i think thats how it works

hmm thats what i thought, but then looking at the shipping options , it says next to "one day shipping" - receive movie on release day

i dont even know if there is shipping charges as i cant see unless i process an order.. Especially if they didnt charge for shipping that would be some great deals on movies.. Most new Blu rays are $19.99

I just ordered 3 blu rays from amazon last tuesday and i got them like 3 days later, i just used standard shipping, you'll get them in your mailbox in 2 or 3 days after you receive shipping notification. i ordered them for $19.99 and shiping and handleing was 2.99 each. I also ordered a 50 inch Samsung PN50B550 Plasma tv from amazon and i am supposed to get it by next week.

they ship them 1-2 days before release

the dvd/blu ray is in their warehouse, they just wait for the order to come in
