How does Audiobahn compare to Diamond Audio D9 series

He works for a distributor and are able to get the cost for some of the sets. I am building a show 1968 Eleanor Cobra and would like the same components , subs and amps to complete the car. DK has been a great help to me as I know very little about car audio. I do not have the limitation on price for this car, but I don't want to do it again for a few years.

i would get the same series on the amps.

either both d6's or both d9's

especially if they are for a show car.

if the amps matched it would look better.

but that is my opinion so do what you want.

oh well then either a single 6600.4 (75x4) or if you want more power a pair of 6300.4's (150x2 per amp bridged)

The only 9 Series amps are the ones I am using for my Components. The Subs are rated at 800w/1600W

that d6 1500.1 will work perfectly for the pair of d912's.

highly debatable, and a matter of opinion....

I've only heard a single d9, and only heard a dual 13w7 setup, but i honestly thought the d9 slightly edged out the w7 in sq, and if there was another one, i'll bet it would be a really close matchup.

Really great speakers, just too power hungry for my budget.

Thanks! DK I wasn't able to get the Diamond amp we discussed from on here. I am leaning still on Diamond for the complete package. Here is what I was able to get from my nephew for pricing61500.1 - 425.00

(2) D9 12" - 675.00 both

(2) D971 components 525.00 each set

(1) D9800.4 - 750.00

All equipment is new. It this a good deal? I am getting the Carputer you suggested to me also.

That would be a sick setup. Does everything come with a warranty? If so and you have those kind of funds, i'd jump all over it.

diamond amps are underrated. 1 should be sufficient for your application. it'll do those subs justice.

edit: and yes i would love to see pictures when you get it all setup. can't wait to see how it turns out man. g/l!

Yep, everything is new in the box with warranties. I was between JL and Diamond, but I have chosen the Diamond and will start install next week. Will I need another D61500.1 to have one per sub?

Gotcha! any other suggestions? I still have 1000.00 budgeted for this project. I got "Fishman" to reduce his installation costs for me, to have him mentioned.

use it to buy wiring and installation stuff (sound deadening). just my opinion.
