How does an Audiopipe AP3000 make 3kw+ with a 200a fuse?

I guess you didnt read SPLaudios statement to get the rest. It takes 200% of a fuse rating for more than 3 seconds to blow it.
I guess I did read it, but his statement doesn't make sense to me either. I'd just like to see proof somewhere.

Everything I've learned leads me to believe a fuse is designed to blow when the current exceeds the fuse rating, whether that be by 10% or 500%.

It's on the internetz, it must be true

Then how would guys be able to burp anything without fuses ? That is how fuses are designed but just like anything else, there are exceptions. If you can keep your voltage up the fuse can also hold a higher amount. 300 amps on a 200 amp fuse @ 9 volts will not last as long as 300 amps on a 200 amp fuse @ 14 volts.
