How do you take your coffee?

i admit i have a senseo machine that i use when i'm in a hurry, usually before i leave for class. A lot of mornings i just dont have time for french press and the senseo is ready in like 45 seconds.

Great coffee it is not, but it is actually about as good as what passes for good coffee in south dakota when mixed with enough 1/2 & 1/2 and sugar.

i have a keurig, and the coffees that are available for it ar eactually really good. just about all of the extra bold k-cups or dark roasts are really good. and it brew with pressure, makes for a good cup of brew, and does it in a short amount of time.

ive heard mixed reviews about the "my k-cup"that you can re-fill with any of your own grounds, but thats getting away from the reason i bought the machine in the first place. like i said, there are tons of variety in the cups, including organics, fair trades, special blends, a suprising amount of regional beans, pretty much anything you can think of. and they are always fresh since each cup is sealed.

Mcdonalds outsold starbucks in the chicago region a few months back, when we introduced the premium roast. Iced coffee sales are very strong right now too.

i take an Ojo Rojo which is a redeye. 2 shots of expresso mixed with a regular coffiee, 4 packs of sugar, and milk. its free since i am buddies with the manager at the coffee shop next to the office.

Thats what we have here at work. I've been trying to cut back before with free coffee I would have at least 4 cups in the morning just cause it was there. Gonna have to try some of these extra bold or dark roasts now. Time to broaden my horizons from "Our Blend" and french vanilla lol.
