How do you seal a wall?

So I am building a wall in my SUV which I have never done before. I have the design and all but of course there are air gaps that need to be sealed off.

Exactly how do you do it? Do you make panels around the entire box to trap the air from going to the back?

i used carefully cut mdf with foam tape around the edge.not a perfect seal but it wont ruin the car either.

I am definitely not trying to ruin anything.. anything I do has to be reversible for when I sell the car lol.

^^^ i did like pr_festiva, or you can use painters tape on the headliner and panels, then use expanding foam so there is no damage done to the vehicle, and that would be pretty much the tightest seal. then cover it with panels to hide the foam

get you a used headliner for use while the wall is in and cut it to fit your new wall???

It doesn't have to be like completely sealed.. I'm not a stickler for perfection lol I just need it stop most of the air flow. I will probably use the mdf with tape idea

ya i have seen the sticky foam/weather stripping used.. good enough to keep out water.. good enough to stop some air..
