How do you open up a p1000bd amp?

i just got a fosgate p1000bd in as trade for free cause the guy said it worked fine until he touched the ground and power wire together and it made a big spark. it smells alittle burnt inside. i want to open it and see whats up but i cant figure out how to. if anyone knows how please let me know. thanks

how bout the mosfet leads...hmm ill take a look for sure if you want to post them. He touched the (+)(-) speaker wires together?

no he touched the ground wire to the battery power wire while it was hooked up to the amp.

it's the only thing I can see. looks like dried up bubbly liquid around that whole coil or whatever it is.

Yeah it's hard to see in the pics. I can't see anything off the top though, anyone else wanna chime in on maybe what/where to look or drop some info

what exactly do I take pictures of? I cannot find anything that looks blown or just doesn't look right. I compare all the parts to make sure that they look the same.

At this point does it really matter? Not trying to be a dick but you obviously don't posses the skills necessary to fix it yourself so you can either A. Sell it as blown or B. Pay to have it repaired

I would like to get it repaired but I wouldn't mind knowing whats wrong with it so I can get an idea of how much the repair will be.

nothing. it just wont turn on.
