OK the first thing you need to know is that there's 12 inches in a foot.
Once you grasp that, there are 12^2 sq. in. = 144 sq. inches in a square foot

If you can understand that then you'll see that there are 12^3 cu. in. = 1728 cu. in. in a cubic foot.

Y'all are mean. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Radius squared times pi times the height (IN INCHES) gives you the volume in cubic inches. Divide that by 1728 (one cubic foot) to get the volume in cubic feet.
