how do u stop windows from ratteling?

i drive an explorer and the rear window, which fold out, rattles pretty bad... its tighten as tight as possibles and i moved the adjuster as far in as possible.. beside removing the back window and putting in a permeant sheet of plexi glass, is their anything to do about the rear window...

dont kno. but my front windows rattle when it gets pretty loud, while hitting the lows. and im kinda scared that the windows are going to fall into the door one of these days because they move so much.

for comps u could put an board inplace of the window. Like make an cutout and place up againt the window. SHit i dunno.......

But on the real i would find a xplorer forum and ask around.

for the rattling... put weather stripping where the glass and rubber touch.

I put rubber foam weather stripping on mine and painted it black on my Expedition...it doesnt rattle at all...
