how do rca's go bad

i disconnected my rca's from my kenwood amp and they where on the back seat,they whre on bubble wrap then i connected them to a mtx4244 4channel amp .as 2channel front and the amp made a huming noise ,then i connected back too kenwood amp and it still made the same noise? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif the rca's are Rf twisted rca's only like 2months old

 
i mean take them out, take a look, if you see a pinch, or somtehing like that, it'd cause the sound you're talking about.

you can get some new knukonceptz pretty cheap, adn they're very good cables... or i have some monster cable RCA's i'll sell for 60 shipped, and they're top of the line, 4 channels in one jacket.

but, i'd check it first, make sure, it might be a really small snag or just a knick in the jacket where it's touching bare metal.
