doesnt matter they connections are parealled internally anyway.

they do that so you can hook 2 subs up to a 1 channel amp. or hook 1 dvc sub up to one amp, or 2 dvc subs up to 1 amp.

so i had everything wired... and the sub didn't hit hard at all. Some pos (piece of shit) 10'' i had in there before hit harder.

wat could be the problem? and if i just wired all the +'s and -'s straight to the amp wat ohms would i be using?



 
It should be 2 ohms. How are your gains set? Crossovers? Subsonic Filter?

Take a 9v battery and apply the positive battery terminal to the positive wire on ONE of the voice coils and do the same for the negative. The sub should move out. Then try the same thing with the other coil. The sub should move out as well. If one moves out and the other moves in, reverse one of the speaker leads.
