what exactly do you do to seal the doors? Do you just line all the metal in the door with the sound deadening stuff, or is there something else to it? Can this be done with peel and seal. I have heard so many people say this made a rediculous difference, so i want to do it. If anybody has pictures, that would REALLY help, cause i usually dont comprehend peoples explanations real well.

rediculous difference would be kicks at equal path distance. Don't worry about mid making bass, their not suppose to. If you want mid-bass buy 8"s with seperate amp

I also want to know if you just cover all the metal inside the door and just cut out for the speaker.

P.S. The search button is a help.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I thought the search button was used so people don't have to clutter the boards with threads that were already made. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif

Yes, you can just use sound deadening to seal the door. You know how when you pull off the door panel, there is that metal frame with a ton of openings and holes in it (usually also the panel that the speaker mounts too)?? Seal all that up by layering sound deadening over the entire metal panel.

Should look something like this when done:

And just as an FYI for other readers, I don't know what that chris229 is talking about, you can get killer midbass out of 6.5s.
