How do i get or do 17 volts?

to get to 17 volt you will need a few things.

Second alt just to run the system. bypass the car all together.

Then you will need a alt with a adjustable voltage regulator.

Also will need a 17v compatible battery or a couple of 8v batteries

In other words, just install it like a normal alternator and forget about this thread //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

2 15" btls
You want to run one amp for two 15" woofers with 17v electrical mod

to extract more power from the amp.

What I would do then is figure out how much the electrical upgrade will

cost and then figure out how much will it cost just to get another amplifier

and run one amp per woofer in bridge mode assuming your woofer

impedance is optimized for the amp. One amp per woofer in the general sense

may cost more but you have 2x more power and maybe less headaches.

Two amp will punish your electrical if you operate those amp at capacity,

so you may have some future electrical upgrading to do anyways.

The other thing to look at is how much power do you really get by boosting

the voltage to 17v and whether you really see any reward from the extra

watts.
