How do I drop Amp to 2ohms with 1 sub.

PIONEER GM-7100M

1-channel mono amp.

I think Puff Daddy, P diddy, artist formerly know as PeePee, or whtaever his name is now sux. But to each their own.

You shouldn't blatently say someones stuff sux, as you have no idea of how he may like the sound of it. I think Cbass was just pointing out that if he bought another of the same sub, he could run it at 2 ohms to get the full potential of the amp.

And Tommy...don't even bother looking at a subs Peak power handling. You want to look at the RMS power, and voice coil configuration to properly match up an amp.

So lets say I get another one. How would I drop it down to 2ohms.

What is the proper wire configuration for a 2ohm load.

Connect the subs in parallel. Both positives from the sub to the positive on the amp..and same with the negatives.
