How do I correct this shutdown?

I am getting a over-rev shut down code on a viper 791. How do I correct it? It doesn't do it all the time either.

as your programming the tach, lightly rev the engine up so the tach signalit see's is already high, therefore, any slight over revs from start-up wont be seen as high an shut the vehicle down
