How difficult will installing my new HU be?

the first thing I did to my car ever was install a new HU. With a wiring harness, I had it working in about an hour and a half.

First head unit I ever installed was a Pioneer cassette deck into a 1979 Ford Pinto. It was the old "shaft style" decks. That was the biggest pains in the ***.

then it shouldn't be to bad.

But as said before make sure to extend those wires and you should be set.

Make sure to double check you wiring guides.

Here is what i found for the factory colors. Make sure you go off of these and not the ones of the aftermarket h/u

Constant 12V+ Green/Yellow

Switched 12V+ Yellow/Black

Ground Red or Black

Illumination Blue/Red

Dimmer n/a

Antenna Trigger n/a

Antenna Right Front

Front Speakers 6" Doors

Left Front (+) Orange/Green

Left Front (-) Black/White

Right Front (+) White/Green

Right Front (-) Black/White

Rear Speakers 6" x 9" Rear Corners

Left Rear (+) Pink/Green

Left Rear (-) Pink/Blue

Right Rear (+) Pink/Blue

Right Rear (-) Green/Orange

Do yourself a favor, go to a local BB/CC and get you either a Metra 70-1770 or a 80-1770. Make things a lot easier to wire up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
