How come every time the $ on the barrel Drops...

Lol I love when people fret over 10 cents cheaper you just have to drive farther to get to it...unless you're driving by already...basically spend a buck or two + 20-30 mins, to save maybe...a buck or two?
I drive every where. I probably put atleast 700 miles a week on the car. Car is used for work. (Checking addresses for repo work, easier then taking the 10mpg truck)

I also fill up with mid grade, or premium. Gets better mileage.

not sure what you're smoking or where you get your info, but in my area gas prices have been steadily falling for the past two weeks due to the lowering oil prices
do you think if the price of a barrel drops $10 on monday you will see gas prices drop on tuesday? it doesn't work that way

sounds like you just want to jump on the "i hate gas prices" bandwagon to fit in for some other inadequacies you may have

about $3.23 here today
For once, I agree with you.

Prices for oil are 'sticky' on the way down but not the way up. When oil jumps all gas stations raise their prices within a week as their suppliers are replinished because those are the increased prices passed along to them from the distributors.

On the way down the distributors hold the prices higher for an inordinate period of time until competetion forces prices lower, which takes time.

my ****ing stupid ex gf used to do that.. go to a diffrent gas station that was 5 cents cheaper down the road. like wow you just wasted 5 minutes driving to save a whole 50 cents on you fill up woot. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

pissed me off every time.

Simple fact, when the barrel goes up, the price of local gas IMMEDIATLEY rises. When the barrel goes down, it takes a couple weeks to see it at the pump. Who's getting fawked?? Thats right.... YOU!

Also...
Oil does not = gasoline

It has to be refined... and we have limited refinery capacity.

Just another thing to consider.
That is a good point, but I have yet to figure out why diesel fuel is more expensive than gas, when diesel is a byproduct...
