Both have nice products, wouldn't say amazing, but nice for sure and I never said they were bad. But I firmly believe that you pay a lot for that badge on those brands and that better can be had for less money. This is not gospel just my opinion but definitely not rubbish.

Agreed, with Harley you are paying for the feel, the sound and the smell. I have a harley and I have ridden other bikes but nothing beats a harley.

On a side note, I'm getting rid of my e8a. Its going in pieces to Hawaii, he wants the cone/surround, and I'm not about to try to pry them out, I can't get a recone for it, ao to me it is pointless. The basket is cracked to start with, so its going in two pieces to hawaii cut in half + a money order. But he is shipping me a DD 1008, hehe.

*edit* the reason I'm doing that is because I'm not paying shipping for a busted *** woofer to Hawaii that would cost more to recone than the **** thing cost me and is worth.

Frys had a BOSE demo room

They played music and junk and they lifted off the " covers" that looked like your average bookshelf speaker to reveal the puny lil bose speakers

I was impressed but there was some " psycho acoustics" in that room because it sounded pretty good.

i asked one of the sales man if he would take the BOSE over a HK setup over the BOSE.

and i'll leave it at that......

Bose just doesn't sound real. When you have a really good speaker system and you close your eyes you should think that what you are listening to is really there. You should be able to hear things that you wouldn't hear on a normal system. And, everything should not sound the same, meaning a lot of decent systems are colored and characterized by the speaker so different albums at some points sound the same (all albums share sonic characters that they shouldn't). But, jesus christ comparing B&W to bose can you hear?!?!?!? If you can't tell the difference then you need to put a bullet in your brain or never ever talk about audio to anyone ever again.
