how can i tell if my amp is blown.

my amp only makes a loud thump every couple of secconds , could it be blown or could it be a wire ?

its prolly a wire. if its blown it wont make any noise unless you push it down. then it will make a funky noise.

Does the sound continue even with the RCA disconnected? Or perhaps the power wires aren't on tight.

i found the culpret , a blown resistor and a shot capacitor , sould be and easy fix.

How'd you find it? Did it have burnt marks on them?
