How can i add an amp? HELP PLEASE

I got a stock radio, and i got a new Boss 4ch amp, My stock radio dose not have a Remote or a RCA connection,

SO here is what I plan, to take the Door speaker wire and add a RCA connector to it, and put it on the amp,

But how can i make a remote or something to cut the amp on or off. and if i used the Door wire for a RCA would it be a high or low level input?

I got the + and - wired up, i just need the remote and a way to add the door speaker wire to the amp!

Cut wire going to speaker. Screw it into "speaker level input"on amp. Then another wire from other side of amp (powered side) that says what speaker you are installing into (L front etc....). Then take any wire that is powered when the car is on and not powered when the car is off - like maybe a cigarette lighter or something like that. Splice into it and add that to the remote turn on.

No need for RCA's this way.

I just looked at what I wrote. That is the friggin manual on how to install amps in 3 lines!

Oh.....and do a search. There has to be 1000 articles on how to install an amp.

Get a 4 channel line out converter. Hook that up to the + and - to each speaker behind the HU. Now you get RCAs outputs. Connect your RCAs from there to the amp. Don't try splicing rcas into your speaker wires. You will fail. High level inputs are speaker level inputs, meaning you take the speaker wire and connect it directly to the amp. The amp must have this capability for this to work. I wouldn't bother with speaker level inputs though. For the remote, get an add-a-fuse and run it to your fuse box to a switched power source. i.e. wipers, sunroof, windows. Anything that only works when the car is in acc or on.
