how big of a box for my L7s in my SUV?

jus baught an SUV (98 ford explorer edie bauer) and i want to make a nice biggg ported box for my 12" L7s, i was looking at lesters biggest box plans, the 5@34hz... and idunno if would be big enough or should i go bigger?
