How are the Maws?

ive got 2 memphis pr12s right now and im lookin into other stuff

im either going to go with one memphis M3 15 (about 200 bucks after my discount)

or one mach 5 MAW15 (bout 80 bucks)

money wise the MAW looks like the better choice but is it going to be as high of quality and as durable as the M3

were looking at around 3cf at about 30-32 Hz for either one as far as ive seen

any input would be greatly appreciated

I love my maws.... but I don't have any experience with M3's or Memphis at all for that matter. I don't think you can go wrong with the maws for the price, but again.. no experience with the M3s.

I love every Memphis product I've come into contact with, but for the price, you can't really beat the MAWs based on the reviews. If you could get the M3 for a comprable price, I'd go with it. The new PR15s might be able to give the MAWs a run for their money though.

yeahhh, dB wise im hittin 143 with the pr12s

i think i might go with the maws

hell, i could almost buy three for the amount of one M3

although, for now, ive only got an MCD500 so i can only run one maw

ill probably end up pickin up an MCD1100 and senden em 550 a piece

How do you like that MCD500? That was the first amp I ever purchased (First Gen M-class, after the switch from the Studio Line), and I loved every minute it was in my car. Do you have the new PRs or the old ones? I had a pair of the previous-gen M-Class subs and they kicked *** for a pair of shallow subs in a REALLY small sealed box(probably .5 cubes apiece).

i love the mcd500, its the newest one theyve put out and the PRs are the 07s

alot of people think theyre fugly but **** do they sound good

people never belive me when they say "how many watts" and i say "500"

hahaha

on all the installs with memphis we do

we turn the second sub upside down so the M is W cuz our shop is "M"obile "W"iring
