You've obviously never tried it. I won races on slicks. All it takes is decent concrete, a decent burnout, and vht if you want. You can make almost anything hook on the street.

F3 Procharged nova makes somewhere in the neighborhood of 1500hp at the wheels.. The S10 I believe is similar powerwise. Both on slicks. Both obviously on unprepped street.

You dont have to act like i'm some muscle head. I only defended it and provided those specific examples because this tool doesn't know what he is talking about and decided to test me. I am actually a fan of the GTR's. They are incredible machines from the factory. I used to like the R34's more but I've seen some GTR's with simple modification doing pretty well power wise. I know it doesn't take displacement to make power. The 2JZ proved that point 15 years ago.

But no, unprepped concrete is not perfect track, yet these cars can still hook. I don't see how your point was viable. If you put these muscle cars on gravel, duh. but any AWD car would dominate it. Might as well put a cummins 3500 beside it. Muscle is the reason why the R35 performs that well. Without muscle cars, there would be no urge to attain more power and we wouldn't have 500+ hp cars coming off the lot with a 100k mile warranty. They are outdated, but not crap. They hold their special place in the world.

For some reason, on all of the Benz's that I've worked on/owned, one tire never holds air. Nomatter what car or how new the tires, there is always an air leak. Not that it has a ton to do with German manufacturing, but i even my gay CL fronts don't like to hold air.
