im looking to see what you guys would do. i have a volt meter that i will be hooking up to my new setup (sig), and im wondering what battery you guys would hook yours up too. would you be more worried about what your back batteries are charging at, or your front battery? i already have a stock digital volt meter on my information display, but those are known to not be that accurate ecspecially when bass hits hard, then charges back up, it tends not to read the voltage drop.

so where would you hook up your voltmeter, front battery under the hood or back batteries in the trunk?

i hooked mines up to my rear amp, i have a little extra battery that i am planning on installed, but havent put it in yet.

but most connect it to the rear. but i heard you need to adjust it, i did not adjust mine, just connected it directly to the amp. it sits at 14.5 when on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

hm... resistance then from front to back? what guage wiring are u using?

are your batteries hooked together in parallel? If so, it doesnt really matter where you connect it.
This isn't true.

If you have a weak connection from front to rear, whether it be ground or positive, the front battery would show a higher voltage while under load then the equipment behind the weak link in the rear, even if they show the same voltage while under little load.
