Hooking the Amp to the Front Terminal vs Rear Battery

Hey there! First post and hopefully quick question. I drive an '05 Magnum and like various other cars, it has the battery in the back, but there is also a check/jump terminal in the front. I currently have my sub amp wired in the back directly to the battery, but I want to add a 4 channel amp for the rest of my speakers, which are currently just run to the headunit.

Would there be a problem hooking the second amp to the front terminals using the standard cheap amp hookup kit, or would the distance from the battery be a problem? I imagine the amp would only be about 3-5 feet from the front terminal, and it would be around 400w RMS.

Thanks,

-Z.
