Hood Pin or Lock?

I would want a secret way of popping my hood so i can prevent theives trying to pop my hood and cutting wires. What would you guys suggest?

? a hood pin is just a trigger switch for an alarm. You could re locate your hood pop by lengthening the cable I suppose, or you could add an actuator to pull the cable and get rid of the handle all together. Then you could just mount a switch somewhere.
