I was wondering if i could get a general idea of what other people think would be the "right" thing to do in a transaction going on. here are the details
I had a deal to trade acouple items i had in which i would have tried to get ~$300 if sold for a item that i have seen selling for under $200. deal was to ship at same time and i'd pay my shipping but then be reimburshed upon them getting it. The lady was suppose to put a copy of reciept in box but didn't so i simply took a pic that showed the tracking # and price in same shot. Shipping came to $54 which included $400 insurance, and they packed to make sure no problem if needed to use insurance, these details were discussed and agreed upon as well.
Now the problem is that since she didn't include the reciept i look as if i'm in the wrong slightly, understandably. Also on the reciept they put their packin charge down 2times which is one of the misunderstandings between me and the other person. I've always seen it put this way so made no deal of it since i've had them pack a few times and reciept always was the same, but what was sent to me was ~20bucks cheaper and ~the same weight and he has put my honesty in question.
My real only question is that since i've provided pic of reciept as proof of cost, and the packing fee's had been discussed before shipping, should i just **** it up and take even more of a loss on this deal by letting him not repay me so i can maintain my positive seller/trader status? He hasn't been rude, or unfriendly in any manner just is looking out for himself in these times of high scamming but doing so puts me in a bad spot, which is why i am making this thread, if it's decided that i'm in the wrong, or that i let UPS screw me then i'll eat all costs. here is pic of reciept in question. pic is blurry but readable.
