Heres What I have plans To do. (sound quality)

-Stock mustang shaker 500 deck. (to keep from getting robbed when i move to school)

-CDT m6 mids up front run active off a jl 300/2

-CDT hd-4/drt-26s run passive on another 300/2

-12" FI SSD run off a 500/1 sealed 1.25~ cu ft. Maybe dub6

-Audiocontrol LC6 for lineout put controller

-Audiocontrol 24xs for an active xover.

-KnuKonceptz kollusus 1/0ga for big 3 and rear distro block w/ 4ga out.

1.) Should I run an equalizer or something else so i can have adjustments with my setup?

2.) Should I run some kind of digital/electronic processor?

3.) will sound quality be about right with only 500watts to sub and 600 to speakers?

Rears are dumb in a "two seater", I'd also recommend a different set of drivers with more midbass especially since you plan to run active. IMO one of the major benefits of running active is not compromising on what you like in drivers when you choose them. To me the CDT's don't have enough midbass and the tweeters do absolutely nothing for me. Depending on what sort of sound you like there are a ton of drivers that would perform way better in a 2 way. Do you already have the 300/4? If not, I'd recommend looking for a 450/4 if you want to stay in the JL line as it will make balancing your front stage even easier.

You need more deadening while you are at it. Good luck with the install.

I already have 1 300/4 thats why I was going to use it and run 2.

I forget to add the sound deadening. I'd probably use about 80sq ft damplifier and 20-40 sq ft overkill pro. Not using any sludges or sprays on this car. (even tho it needs it)

I was not running any rears so its just going to be some holes or maybe i'll block em off if it sounds better.

I'd like to spend about 400-500$ on my speakers so throw me some ideas for a good active midbass and 4" with 1" passive.

I misread your first post a bit and thought you were putting in rears with the other amp, sorry.

The 4" you chose will be fine for midrange, I am not a fan of the tweeter but there aren't any other real good 4+1 tweet options. If it were me, I'd run all 3 channels active with a full 3 way crossover.

If you go that route you just have to choose the midbass, there are a ton of options but I'd get the processing nailed down first.

What would I gain by going 3 way active.

and what processor would I run?

You really do need an external processor. Those Shaker 500 decks do some serious EQing at high volume. They really turn down the lows and cranks the mids.
what should I use as a processor?

and what should I use as a 3 way active crossover?

Audiocontrol DQXS with a 24xs to split the midrange/tweets?

does eq,processing, crossover.

A Fosgate 360.2 would give you a LOC to integrate your stock HU into the system, crossovers, and all the equalization you would ever need.

Its even remote controllable from a Palm handheld, and its small too.

They go for around $370 (+/-) on eBay.
