Honda Pilot dash kit problem

I bought a dash kit for my 03 Honda Pilot, and it turned out to be the wrong one. The one I bought only first the model without the navi system in it, and the one I have is the one with the navi system. In the one I have, the navi system is where the stock hu would otherwise be.

I can't find one from metra, does anyone know where I can get one that's under like $100 and 100 pieces? those are the only ones i can find.

The dash kit from metra is the Metra 99-7861. any circuit city or best buy should carry it, or u can order it online.

Naw see that's the one I got, but it's meant to fit the hole where the head unit is in this picture

The one I need is the one that fits the hole where the head unit is in this one

(it's at the bottom of all the pictures. I want to keep the navigation and put a head unit in, the navigation thing doesn't control any audio stuff)

this is a problem haha. My HU is chillin in my dash with holes everywhere and it looks like crap. Anyone know?

Is your new HU a single or double din?

It's double.

And I don't have the right kit dammit, otherwise it would be in. There's nowhere to mount the kit where the hu was.

Balls this is makin me mad.

Yeah. Even if I didn't, the wires for the wiring harness wouldn't stretch up to where the NAV is. and if I took the NAV out, there would be a double din size hole where the factory hu would be.

you can extend the wiring harness to put a deck in that location. to be honest with you from what i remember. that nav unit wont work with an aftermarket deck. so ask yourself what you really want to do. then get back to me.

That's a huge pain in the *** and it'll be hard to see the nav while driving. The nav still works, at least it turns on and prompts me for the code. The only thing that won't work is the audio prompts it gives me to take turns.
