Home receiver suggestion

hey people. i wanna buy a new receiver for my room. what do u think that the best choice is between 150-300? it needs to push a 6 ohm load, have a line out and a subwoofer out. it needs to handle 2 pairs of speakers, and doesn't matter if its a stereo or surround. it can be in a bundle with some speakers if need be, but preferably not. thanks people for any input you give me!

Harman/Kardon makes some good stuff, I think their lowest model (still really nice) is about $300. They are stable to 4ohms too.
