Im re doing my basement and I just finished making a bar, ive painted the walls and carpeted and everything but i would love to add some neon lighting as a nice accent for parties and stuff, like under tables and maybe around the ceiling and stuff but i dont kno what to do, so far i have only found 12v neons for cars which is what i used in the bar, but where can i find some neon lighting that will just plug into an outlet. If anyone has pics of the neon home thatd be great to.

ive looked at various places there but im not looking to spend $1600 on a roll of it, i guess i should of stated a cheaper solution is what i want

You'll need a 110 volt transformer. One's ive used is a brand called "franceformer"... you can pick them up on ebay pretty cheap used.

Then you can use the same tubes as in underbody neon if you want, and wire all of it in series with each other. You can use pretty much any kind of wire to connect it up, as long as it has a decent shield on it and you keep it away from metal grounding points.

partsexpress has some party shit, of it was me I would buy a power inverter, cheaper and you really dont need a big one as neons only draw a few amps

i have these mounted behind my tv and et center and it just makes the whole thing glow nicely

what about using a cpu power supply

you could use that for a small underbody neon setup.

seriously though, look at Franceformers. Even new they're only $70.

ghey....that's not classy at all. I know I can tell the difference between cheap led lighting and the real soft warm plasma glow of real tube neon.
