Holy Mother Of.....

The top panel is an addition for show usage - it is removable.

The cord is power for the top speaker panel since it is removable, very good way to do that without random wires hanging out... actual cord with plugs = well done, IMO.

very good glass work....and the cord yet creative...should've been hid...maybe behind the panel...I wish I knew how to do glass work like that ...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

With that many woofers occupying each door, there's no way those drivers are getting the proper amount of airspace. And the ones in the 'window panels'.... are they getting like any airspace behind them?

As much as I dont like ragging on other people's ideas, this is a terrible one. Not much different than all those stupid show cars you see with speakers stuffed into every possible crevice imaginable. Great to look at, but falls flat on its face sonically. This Italian has great glass skills, but he seems to be lacking in the fundamentals of audio reproduction.

One thing I've learned dealing with quite a few foreign countries... their goals for systems can be QUITE different than ours (in general). Different things are really popular in different countries.

In this case... I'd say enclosure space isn't a concern since he has no desire to get any real bass from these speakers, just to SCREAM loud as hell.

Besides he may end up with a pretty sweet sub setup - not that I would know anything about that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

lol i bet you dont, he probably bought like 9 3000ds from you in which hes doing 16 18's in a folded horn that exteneds through the roof and doubles as a spoiler...

am i close? lol

If he wasn't after bass, why in the world did he mount an array of relatively large woofers in his front stage? lol He could have just been like everyone else and glassed an array of 5-1/4's everywhere he could fit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
The sad part is you are probably right. Even with all those large woofers in his front stage, he's probably still relying on the subwoofers to play his midbass. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif lol

I am pretty impressed with his fabrication skills, though - would like to see what he can do!

Louder with the big woofers, more efficiency! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

In my old SPL truck I removed five SETS of component speakers and replaced them with with a single 10" B&C driver per side and a single Selenium PA tweeter per side... it was orders of magnitude louder even running the amps @ 8 ohms vs. lower loads with the 5 sets of speakers. I'm guessing his speakers are similar to the B&C in that they are pretty "usable" up to 3000 - 4000 Hz so they mate nicely with the horns.

I've seen alot of setups like this internationally, stuff like that is pretty popular //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif In Trinidad they call it a "gallery" system.
