Holy FOOCK !!!

pulled out all the burned wire and but it off. I thought it was loose but it was on there good and tight. Dunno. maybe it melted as it was getting hot. Anyways I got a "better" fuse holder, took out my PC800 batt and put a yellowtop D51 in the back. Hopefully that will help. If not I'll just say goodbye to playing music "loud" for an hour straight.

Fuses are for p*ssies. That's a loose wire. I draw far more than 300A and have never seen anything like that on #0 cable.... I haven't even seen it on #4
but how long do you let it play? This happened after about an hour of playing. The way I figured it was too much power being sent to the back battery. the demand just could not keep up. that's why I replaced it with a yellowtop

Same here. I would look into a better fuse holder and next time once a month or so just go over your connections to ensure they are still good.
As for multiple wires, there is minimal use if he does not need that much current. 90% of the members on this board do not need to run more then one single run of 1/0. I also would not condone ditching all fusing when running wires the length of the car. That is simply asking for an issue to arise(I hope it never does to anyone).
It doesn't matter what I post you always say the opposite.
