SQ is the main goal, but i want to stay ported to keep the output.

IDmax 12 + ED NINe.1 @ 1 ohm, w/ gains set, then turned down a little, so itll be less than the 1200.

im thinking 2.5 cubes @ 30 hz.

I do not think that 40 is too much but I do believe that you could get away with less, 20 -30 inches should be fine for a SQ box. I have a box that is 2.3 cubes with 29 inches of port area tuned to 28 hz and I have played a Brahma, FIQ and TC 3000 in it with zero port noise.

Yo i noticed my P880 has a selection bewteen mono and stereo for the subwoofer. What is the difference?
