Holy Crap, I am Pissed. NO MORE NSB's.

Thylantyr probably owns a 55' semi trailer full of them, but I doubt he'd sell if the world was ending tomorrow //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Hes got to save them for the Death Star!

I was just thinking, ya know, now that I got money in my account and can buy those tommorow, i bet they are gonna be sold out........//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif  //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

Hmmm.....What home theater project to do now i wonder?

****, thylantyr helped me out on all the things on those plans, i've been drawing them out using 3d modeling software...

Oh well, i guess I will move on to something else now.

I have 288 NSB's.

Supply and demand, no supply I demand 10x markup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/clap.gif.178cba2c538c68e720c727fcb024b19c.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif

For a quality line array, the tweeter is more important, find another cheap midrange

and continue the quest of line arraying.

4" EXTENDED RANGE DRIVER (269-568 & 269-570)Nicknamed by the infamous "Lefty" Carroll, because of their colorful history prior to Parts Express acquiring these drivers. A long and complicated process was employed to ensure that certain markings on these drivers were removed prior to their arrival at Parts Express-- very peculiar...

The NSB's are 4" drivers that offer excellent full-range performance in a small, fully-shielded package. These drivers are great for many different types of designs, from dipole surround speakers to center channels, and are even perfect for line arrays! Driver features: 3/4" V.C. on paper former, large flat spider, paper cone, rubber surround, and a paper dustcap. The textured PPM cone, rubber surround, large cast frame, and large shielded motor structure give this woofer a sense of quality that is not found on most small drivers.
This was taken from a page on Parts Express...

Maybe later if you can't find a solution, I could sell you a box of 32. I don't want to

sell partials as wrapping 18 individual drivers in a large box wouldn't be fun.

Problems is;

My cost - $.49 each = $15.68

Cost me ~$1 per driver to ship to me. $32

$15.68 + 32 = $47.68

Cost to ship to you is probably ~$1 per driver also, +$32

$47.69 + $32 = $79.68

That's without any profit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

With a carton of 32 NSB you can beef up your line array plans, perhaps have extras

for future builds, or blow up the remainder for fun.

Question is, can you find drivers for your project cheaper ? See what the market has

to offer first.

umm,whats an NSB ? :/
49 cent pioneer driver. they are hideous, but fun as hell to play with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i have like 15 atm just sitting cause it cost me 10 shipped for 'em //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Thanks for the offer thylantyr, but I don't know about this now. The whole beauty of this thing was the cheapness of the drivers, but idk if I can afford over 100 bucks on the nsb's + tweets right now... I will definetly finish plans and keep them, but I don't know about this. I might just make some more standard type speakers for my dorm. I need to think about this.
