Today I was putting one of my 15 Se's in a box and my screwdriver slipped and went through my surround...I felt sick to my stomach...I'm thinking maybe melt it somehow and like weld it together...or maybe there's some type of flexible epoxy stuff...anyone with any expierience with something like this have a suggestion?

happens to almost everybody at one time or another...although if I ever did that to my e12a, I would cry. For a long time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

be quick, my gentle Nomex...

yep...I poked a 1/2 inch hole in my brahma and I used silicon to patch it up. Works like a champ, but I cry everytime I look at the the hole I made...

I'll second seconding the silicone. It's just caulk, so it should be handy at the time it slips, just work it on both sides of the surround and call it good. Maybe paint it. Worked on my SPL sub like a charm.

i use these so there is no chance a screwdriver will slip...
