Hole in my rubber

i need a little bit of help before i go insane....i just bought a brand new alpine type r 1042d, and i was putting it into my box but stupid me slipped and the drill poked a hole in the edge of the rubber about this big*and i would love it if there was any way to fix the **** thing because right now, my stock 4x6's basically hit harder....if anyone knows...

I had had a problem with some tee nuts and I ended up having to drill the heads off a couple of the bolts. I broke a drill bit and put a hole in my rubber. It wasnt that bad, but I sealed it up with some RTV silicone type stuff (its used for gaskets when working on an engine).

i had that happend saturday when i got my sub put a dent/scratch in the cone, just missed the surround

i've heard of people using toilet paper, then putting black nail polish on it........

i think the chemicals fromt he nail polish would make it worse, lol. Try using Silicon Caulk. I am guessing it would work but i only heard ot from a few poeple doing it.

doesnt silicon eat away at normal surround material?

they make acrilic caulk

and epoxy ive heard is the most common
