Figured I had been lurking long enough (especially in the old school amp thread) and actually join these forums. I am currently collecting parts to build a high school flashback system. I have a fair knowledge of car audio, mostly from a techy point of view, as my work history is all electronics. Started out in the Marine Corps where I eventually ended up teaching radio fundamentals and transistor theory. A few years ago, I changed fields slightly to IT and am currently a systems administrator for a company in Tampa.
I love my DnB/dubstep and figured it was about time to finally replace the stock audio in my current ride, an '04 Mazda 3 Hatch. Normally this would have been something done within the first month of buying a new car, but I also met my wife about that time so it got pushed off the priority list for awhile.
