HO altanator pros?

So id like to get my 250amp mechman installed into my explorer this week but my agm is on back order for 3 weeks

Can I go ahead and wire it up to the stock battery or wil that cause problems?

And do I or should I connect the VR?

i had my dcpower 210a hooked up to my stock electrical before i put in the extra battery in the rear. never caused me any problem. if you have a external adjustable regulator, might be wise to turn it down a little before the other battery shows up. just a thought though bro

it will be fine as long as your not giving it too high of a voltage.
