What are you using for cabling to the rear batts and amp? O gauge? Your rear voltage drop sounds like poor cabling or connections. Check all connections. Retighten all compression screws on the cable at the fuses, battery posts and distro's. Look for burn marks, oxidation or loose connections. Tripple check you have a solid clean ground connection at the amp and batteries.

i have 1 run of 0 gauge positive and 1 run of 0 gauge negative from the front battery to the back battery. my batteries read the exact same voltage. i will check all of my connections tomorrow at work right now. im going to take my box out this weekend and make sure there are no loose connections inside.

could a loose connection in the box or bad vc cause my amp to go into protect at high volumes? when my trunk is up with the music playing my subs make a pooping noise. what does mean?

do a second run of 0/1 i have 2 and i only have a saz1500d at .5 ohm it made a pretty noticeable difference for me in voltage

i already have a run of pos and neg. ur saying do another run of pos. if i do pos i have to do neg right?

did some more testing today. it seems as thought my wire going from my front battery to my back battery is not transfering enough current. this is what happenens: the battery in the back would drop like a whole volt when the bass hits while the battery up front only drops like .1. this leads me to believe that my wire is not good. I will be changing wire soon hopefully this solves the problem.

I'd be willing to bet your alt isn't cutting it. I have the same amp, but I'm running a 235A DC Power Alt with 1 yellowtop up front and only 1 run of 1/0 to the amp...and I don't get voltage drops that bad...

i seriously think its the wire. if u see it u would to. i was suspect of it when i got it. i have hyperflex under the hood and my voltage bearly drops on my front batt. which makes me believe the back battery and amps arent receiving the current because of this crappy wire. if im wrong i need to upgrade wires anyway and i can eliminate one problem then upgrade alts.

Turns out my wire is crap. Its not allowing the current to get to my back battery and amps when the current needs to be drawn, resulting in big voltage drops. The voltage doesnt even drop on the front battery and alt when the bass hits. Will be replacing this wire with knu flex in next week.
