Does anyone have any opinions about Power Bastards or Excessive Amperage for alts. PB quoted me $289 for a 220A alt with a one year warrenty. EA quoted me $355 for a custom built 200A alt. Just wonderin what you guys think.

never heard of pb. from what people had said on here it's a 50/50 chance on ea.

my friend mlstrass is using a ea alt and never had any problems. my friend sleepyjr is using a mean green alt and this is his second time sending it in.

hit or miss. Check out Mechman...good prices and I've only heard good things about them. I've talked to the owner and he seems to know his stuff..

UMMM.. if mechman offered you a good deal.. dont be a cheapo dude.. pay the extra 50 you would save and go with mechman. I couldn't imagine the pain in the *** of installing/unintalling and shipping the alt multiple times. My car also needs to be jacked up to mess wit hthe alt though too... lol

But mechman knows his stuff

they kept making loud noises. and didn't hold voltage very good anymore. i forgot what he said happen the first time. i will ask him next time.
