Robin is the man when it coms to buulding boxes...one of these days when i get my bass workign again and im ready to build my SPL box, whom i gonna call? not ghostbusters....

i saw that box in real life, and it looks very very nice. i love the birch. robin went above and beyond (rounded edges, filled in and sanded down holes where screws were)

lets hope my wall turns out this good:laugh:

hey rob, so how much did it cost to ship? did u ship it fedex ground? also, how much did the box cost 'wood-worth' wise with the birch rather than mdf?

guessing 40 or 80, depending if he used 1 or more than 1 of course. thats wood wise. then you got glue/screws/time and shipping.....

it costs about double the price of MDF to build it, and 2/3's the cost to ship it. pretty much

cool cool, will definately look into that on my next build. i've also heard it cuts way easier than mdf and leaves less of a mess, which is great too since my tools aren't top notch
