it wasnt them...they have some sketchy friends of friends that come by here sometime...and already gave the name of someone to the police...as long as they are cooperative im not doing anything that might keep me from getting my car back to normal

alright well i opened a claim...i just have a question cause ive never done this before...what exactly does the adjuster that comes out to look at my car do?

You should be able to get the entire car repainted depending on the shop and the damage. In my area there was a guy who we used to deal with quite often. VERY VERY good body man and painter. For a simple bumper cover replacement/repaint he would charge $2.5k and claim he had to repaint half the car to get the paint to blend in properly. He would actually repaint half the car and it would be nearly impossible to tell any work was done. One time he touched up (not a complete repaint) on a Mystic chrome (dupont's color changing paint) Mustang Cobra and you could not tell at all where he resprayed.

Long story short, hunt around and get at least 3 quotes and go with the highest. For paint and body work you generally get what you pay for and its usually not cheap. Plus most body shops will work with you on things like this.
