hmm..insurance fraud?

Well i come home from a weekend away out in PA and my poor goat is messed up. Dents, scratches, blood, dings, etc....i find out the neighbors had a party (its a duplex) and a fight broke out in our driveway and my car got f'ed....on a side note there is also graffiti all over the back of our house but anyway.

I have a 1k deductable on my insurance. I am going to find a good bodyshop to do the work because either way it has to get done (if the police find out who did it, or if i have to pay the deductable and get it done myself)

but heres my question. if, lets say i had other small problems with the paint / body...rock chips, a small scratch on another part of the car etc...is there anyway that stuff could get fixed on the low? or is that considered like full blown insurance fraud.

Im not trying to commit fraud in anyway, but i figure if some ******* that was trespassing, fighting, and destroying my property is going to be paying for it, why not get it done?

i know it does ****...i am under my dads policy...we have like 7 vehicles insured i have no idea why its so high but when i called thats what he said it was

I got mine done. Of course the insurance co argued that they wanted their shop to do it but I said Fno. Got like 3 estimates. Sent the highest in. Got some money, got the whole thing painted, had some money left over. Oh one side, and the hood got egged. Oh also I got the whole thing painted a different color so, jambs, underhood and all.

When my car got fxed up, I got a qoute from go subaru for 5,862.sumthin

I got the check, waited for it to go thru, took out 2800 cash, and payd a local body shop $2800 to fix & paint it.

Just tell the body shop to add it under the invoice as the repair. As in not mention the repair but bring up the price on the repair of the certain part.

By the way, cheaper premium will make the deductible higher. Vice versa

Really it isnt. I mean if you say that the previous damage was caused by them then yes, but after you shop gets the check and they say they will do some stuff on the side after the fact then no.

yeah i actually did this one time, i had a big ding in my door and my front right fender, i hit someone on the front of the car square, then i took a tshirt around my hand and beat the area between the front damage and the side damage to link it all together, insurance covered every bit of it lol
