Hitting lows on SPL design

For lows on SPL, a bigger box is generally better right? So how many cubic feet would my HDC3 like?

no, what matters is tuning lower

just tune the box lower.

or get a sub that likes lower tuning.

depends on the power too, less power sometimes you can get away with a larger box. but if your running 1500-2000w or more to that HDC, i wouldnt increase the volume that much, you'll lose some power handling. 5-6cf with a good bit of port area w/ lower tuning is probably what your looking for

With my 9.1. That's what I'm basing the power off of. This is for burps, not daily.

doesn't matter, to hit the lows you need to be tuned lower so u peak where the low notes hit

Why do you need it to hit lows better if you're just using it to burp?

You have a HDC right?

Just tune it too 38-40hz...itll hit the lows just fine

This is my 4 HDCs tuned at 40hz playing white girls:
