Highs for 4500 watts worth of subs??

OP...Not sure if you've considering going active, but 4 Mach5mids and some budget tweeters in the Apillars could do the job.

I run 8 Hi-Vi $4 tweeters in each pillar off like 75watts and they keep up with my subs no problem.

You'd be under $300 for the mids/tweets assuming you do the install work.

I know the AQ and SD 4 channels are active capable, so you could BP the mids, just not sure how high the xover is for the tweets as you'd want to HP them around 4k.

The AQ is on sale for $209 and will BP the mids and HP the tweeters up to 4.5K, so that would work fine. I'm sure the SD will do that also if you're set on getting one of those, just expect to pay more.

2 mids per channel will be a 2ohm load, so you'll have plenty of power for them.

Ok first off your stupid Polecat isnt on team kicker HE IS TEAM KICKER!!! Tracy aka Polecat works for kicker and is incharge of team kicker itself, so your wrong about selling stuff to freinds at team price. As for me you can ask kicker what i have bought threw team price and i can show you all of it in my garage! I only buy what I need. So how about you do some ****ing research before you open your mouth about people! The only thing you are right about is that there is no more Team Kicker! Because some people did abuse what they had.

LOL, yes i have been there. Seen it many times. AND have done it any times in my truck when we was testing a 3500D, the 4500D prototype, and a American Bass 500.1.

source of this is where? Once again Polecat isnt a competitor he is an employee of Still water designs And i find it very hard to belive that any company sends you prototype amps to test for them! Now i can sit here and go back and forth with you all day long if you would like but i am going to keep proving you wrong on anything you have to say.

btw i almost used the 2 prototype 4500D's in my install for World Finals this year, however we decided not to incase i would get DQ'd since they werent "techically" in production yet. Instead we stuck 4 3500D's in there...

Ok well MECA could give two sh!ts if your running prototype amps at finals so long as you follow the fuse rule. And your right i dont know you but do you know me? So i guess its your word against mine and your going to keep trying to start something you can never finish.
