My IDQ is flat in room from 30 to 100hz. It's perfect for most music.Without some eq'ing it's very hard to get the best of both worlds. I don't know a single sub that manages to cover the normal subwoofer spectrum with the same efficiency. Some do better on the low end, some do better up top. It's just a trade off thing. You have to find what works best for you and go with it. Until you get an EQ on that subwoofer at least.
